Skoda Superb President Zeman Presidential Limo

Volkswagen are trading on Skoda’s national heritage by linking up with one of the country’s most famous people.
President Milos Zeman, who took office in March 2013, has been given a brand new Skoda Superb by the Czech car manufacturer.
The car maker describe the Superb as a “powerful and luxurious” saloon, which they’re proud to say is made in the Czech Republic, so the country’s most powerful man should feel at home inside the Superb.

The car the President drives, or is driven in, has been painted in a “Black Magic” pearl-effect colour.
The top-of-the-range limo has Laurin and Klement interior trim, which is the most luxurious trim available for the Skoda, and includes brown leather upholstery and piano black trim.
The front seats are ventilated and heated, and there are a host of other luxuries that push this model above all other Skodas.
Power comes from a 3.
6 litre V-6 FSI motor that develops 256bhp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Volkswagen’s six-speed DSG double-clutch gearbox has been included and the President’s Superb is all-wheel-drive, which is sensible as the chauffeur might have to drive like a getaway driver if the President’s life is in danger.

As it’s a presidential limo, we’re expecting armour plated body panels and a bomb-proof underside, both of which add an extreme amount of weight and change the handling characteristics.
It might explain why the President’s Skoda Superb has an engine powerful enough to get from 0-62mph in 6.
4 seconds and go on to a top speed of 155mph.
