Silvio Berlusconi, driving Freccia Rossa , urges countrymen to work harder

While driving a new high-speed train, Italy’s prime minister Silvio Berlusconi publicly urged his countrymen to work harder to beat the global economic crises.
Mr Berlusconi is quoted as saying: “This American influenza, this virus from America, has struck a healthy body; we’re all trying to get over it with a bit of aspirin”To staunch the economic crisis, the Italian government will soon launch a plan for more public works, including a long-delayed bridge connecting Sicily to the mainland.

Silvio Berlusconi is also convinced that the Italian press, hostile to him, is purposely exaggerating the extent of the crisis
