The police force in Ennis are currently investigating a string of suspected attacks that took place in Co Clare, specifically in the village of Clarecastle, during the afternoon of Sunday, April 14th. Reports say that, just before 1pm, two individuals reportedly entered a shop and reeked havoc on two men before making a swift exit from the premises by car.
An injured man, in his twenties, is currently undergoing serious medical treatment at a hospital. Furthermore, another victim, a teenager in his late teens, received medical care for his non-life threatening injuries at a hospital and is now discharged.
In the unfortunate incident, a middle-aged woman, in her fifties, was also hurt and is currently in the hospital receiving treatment for injuries, though they’re not life threatening.

Preserving the crime scene, the police force has arranged for a technical survey to take place. Ennis’s police station has set up an Incident Room as the inquiry proceeds.
Any witnesses to the event are urged by the Gardaí to step forward. They are also requesting drivers who were in the Clarecastle area between 12:45pm and 1:15pm and may have recorded footage (for example from a dashcam), to make the video available to the police. Also, anyone who noticed unusual activity in Clarecastle during the aforementioned times is encouraged to come forward.
