Terms & Regulations

1. This competition is open to all individuals residing in Ireland who are at least 18 years old. However, promoters, their families, representatives, or anyone professionally associated with this competition are not eligible.

2. Your valid entry must include the correct answer to the question above along with your name, email address and phone number.

3. Applications from commercial agents, organised groups or those automatically created by computers will not be entertained. Also, incomplete, unreadable, and compromised entries, as well as those not in accordance with the entry guidelines will be disregarded.

4. The competition will commence on the 11th of March, 2024 and conclude at midnight on the 13th of March, 2024.

5. All entries are to be submitted to the Promoter before the competition ends on the Closing Date. Any entries received post the Closing Date will be ruled out.

6. Competitors are restricted to a single entry, with each competitor eligible for only one prize.

7. By submitting your entry to the Promoter, you are consenting to abide by these terms and regulations.

8. The Promoter will not be held accountable for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed due to any network, computer software or hardware failures. Dispatch proof does not constitute receipt proof. All entries once submitted, become the property of the Promoter.

9. The award is a set of two tickets for the match between Ireland and Scotland on March 16th, 2024. Only one winner will be chosen.

10. Any supplementary terms and conditions of the prize’s supplier will apply to all rewards. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or reimbursed.

11. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage caused by accepting the terms and conditions or in relation with the reward.

12. In case of exceptional circumstances, the Promoter has the right to replace the prize with an alternative of equivalent or higher value.

13. The winners will be informed via email. They must claim their reward before the 16th of March, 2024. If the prize is not claimed within the given time, it will be forfeited and the Promoter may choose to present the unclaimed prize to an alternative winner, selected according to the competition rules.

14. The organisers retain conclusive and binding authority on all issues and no discourse will be entertained.
15. Winner’s information including their name and region, will be publicly displayed on The Irish Times website.
16. The victor may be asked to engage in non-remunerated publicity in relation to this campaign.
17. Your private data will be handled by the Organiser as dictated in the privacy policy found at https://www.irishtimes.com/policy-and-terms/privacy-policy, and as stipulated in these rules and regulations.
18. Rewards given are strictly not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
19. The rules and regulations of this promotion are under the jurisdiction of the Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland will have supreme authority.

21. The Organiser retains the prerogative to nullify, postpone, terminate or modify the Promotion if necessary.
