com because the 17 -year-old’s name has been linked with the first outing of Suter’s Moto1 bike at the post season test at Valencia.
The Suter machine which mounts a BMW S1000 RR engine is a prototype/production bike which is leaning heavily towards the new 2012 MotoGP rules that will finally see the return of the 1000cc displacement.
A pair of these Suter Moto1 racers is estimated to cost between 400,000-600,000 euros, minus engines, but includes development during the season.
Eskil Suter said: “We decided for BMW’s S 1000 RR engine because it is an in-line four-cylinder configuration with dimensions quite similar to the current Honda CBR 600 RR that’s mounted on our Moto2 chassis and that simplified the design project.
”
