Save the Nurburgring circuit

If what’s happening to the legendary ciruit of Nurburgring doesn’t get your blood boiling and dander up, nothing will.
Jackie Stewart once called the Nurburgring the Green Hell, and now this historical circuit which opened in 1927, and has seen the best in motorsports (car and motorcycle) racing is being threatened by a €400 million debt.

The ‘Ring’ has been under public ownership and administration, and from 2007 to 2009 the German government built a leisure Park which they rented, including the two tracks, to private investors in May.
The investors who promised private financing, built a theme park that included, a rollercoaster and a shopping mall and hotel and what does this all mean to motorsports?Apparently to recoup some of the losses, this definitely will mean higher prices for everyone, reduced maintenance of the track resulting in less motorsports.
