One of Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches is the Tuerredda beach in the south-east of Sardegnatura Capo Malfatano and Capo Spartivento.
This Italian beach is located about seven kilometres from Teulada and is described by Giro di Vento as being about 600 metres long and presenting a kaleidoscope of colours from the white sand to the blues and greens of the sea.
It’s among the top ten beaches in Sardinia thanks to its clear water and clean, soft sand like talcum powder (please do not bottle the sand and take it home with you – it will never look as good on your mantelpiece).
The beach is part of a natural environment and is distinctly Mediterranean.
Part of the beach is under management where you can hire sun beds and beach umbrellas, sports equipment and there is a kiosk/bar and restaurant.
Given the beach’s popularity, the only way of securing your spot in August and on weekends, is to arrive in the early morning.
