Ryuichi Kiyonari to Gresini Moto2? UPDATED

With Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias linked back to MotoGP in 2011 with Pramac Ducati (evidently he’s gotten over his qualms about riding a Ducati after a disastrous 2008), Fausto Gresini is already casting around for another rider to fill the Spaniard’s shoes riding boots and hopefully win him another Moto2 title.

According to the latest rumors Gresini expert eyes may have fallen on one of his former riders, Ryuichi Kiyonari.
The HM Plant Honda rider won all three races at Oulton Park last weekend in the season finale and took the 2010 British Superbike title for the third time would now would like to return to a world racing level and Moto2 could be the right stepping stone and a welcome return for the Japanese rider who raced in MotoGP under the Gresini banner back in 2003 when he substituted the late Daijiro Kato.
UPDATED:Fausto Gresini has denied that he’s had any contacts with Kiyonari and is still working on finding his second rider.
