On a late night, Russia used 67 high-distance drones to attack Ukraine, as stated by the Ukrainian air force on Saturday. They were able to neutralise 58 of the airborne threats.
Their statement, delivered via the Telegram app, revealed that air defence units were urgently deployed in 11 different Ukrainian regions. In Ukraine’s main city, Kyiv, a succession of explosions were audible around 3am (12am local) early on Saturday, noticeably echoing throughout downtown.
Since initiating hostilities in February of 2022, Russia has fired thousands of missiles and high-distance drones into Ukraine.
