RTÉ’s Fittest Family Delayed After Death

The new series of “Ireland’s Fittest Family”, from the broadcasting channel RTÉ, has had its premiere date pushed back in light of the tragic loss of a participant, said to be a teenager from Dublin. The programme, which was pre-recorded and scheduled for a Sunday evening slot, is hosted by Laura Fox with a judging panel consisting of personalities including Donncha O’Callaghan, Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, and former Olympic silver medalist Sonia O’Sullivan. Unfortunately, the individual passed away after the completion of the series’s production. “Our deepest condolences are extended to the grieving family and friends by both RTÉ and Kite/Animo productions. Additional information relating to the future broadcast of the series will be shared when appropriate,” said the broadcasting channel.
