Rome: four star Hotel Donna Camilla Savelli

The Donna Savelli hotel was an old convent built in 1642 by the illustrious architect Francesco Borromini for Camilla Savelli Farnese duchess of Latera.
After major restoration, this beautiful nunnery has been converted into a four star hotel for the famous Alpitour World group.
It has 78 bedrooms including an Imperial Suite that will take your breath away; the price ranges from 250 to 650 euros per night.

Every room features wooden beams and antique furniture, but perhaps the hotel’s chief attraction lies in its amazing roof garden which features an old cloister surrounded by beautiful magnolias and which provides one of the most beautiful views in the world: the pulsating heart of Rome.
By the way, the hotel is located in the Trastevere District, so Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori or Vatican City are just a few minutes away; no need to take a taxi or the subway train!Take a look at our photo gallery.
