Romano Fenati’s bizarre crash in FP2 at Misano (w/video)

Moto3 rookie Romano Fenati ended up topping the timesheets in 1.
49’965 in the final practice session of the day at a very cold and damp Misano.
The Team Italia FMI rider pushed Maverick Vinales to second by over a second, but he also topped the session with a very bizzare crash.

The Italian who won his first ever GP race in same mixed weather conditions at Jerez last April, suffered the crash at the Variante del Parco immediately after his flying lap.
His right knee-slider came loose and got caught the rear tire and his Honda-FTR came around and flipped him off in a small highside and he ended up hiting his head.
Fortunately for the 16-year old it was just a scare and he didn’t suffer any physical consequences.
