Rolls Royce RR4: official drawings

Rolls Royce has released the first official drafts of the RR4, the new model designed to become the access point for the world to the “spirit of ecstacy”, and expected to generate important sales internationally.
Until now we had glimpsed some prototypes and discussed the possible arrival of a diesel engine, but now we can view these designs, still a little rough, and see that the RR4 will continue the stylistic course of the Phantom while accentuating dynamism.

Design head Ian Cameron has said the RR4 will have some of the Phantom’s grunt, emphasising the dynamic aspect and driving experience, while proposing smaller dimensions compared to the big sister.
The car has been now been defined down to the last detail, and should be revealed throughout the course of 2009.
While waiting for the commercial launch, planned for 2010, Rolls is considering a second line for production at the Goodwood facilities.
