Robot Bike vs MotoGP Bike

Designer Yutaka Igarashi has come up with still another concept, a robotically controlled motorcycle.
This bike would be driven by a high power electric motor with a built in battery pack thus ensuring that the space available is utilized quite optimally.
The balance of the vehicle is actively controlled by swinging the boom (takes the place of the rider) by the hydraulic actuators, no other details have been specified, except the fact that their main aim is to break a lap time of a MotoGP bike around a circuit.

It could probably beat a single lap time, but I sure like to see what it does if it has to exchange paint with someone like James Toseland or try to pass on the inside of Valentino Rossi.
Check out here other concepts by the Japanese designer.
