Ringrose, O’Brien Return, Keenan’s Cup Doubt

Garry Ringrose and Jimmy O’Brien have recently gotten over their injuries and have been announced as possible picks for the subsequent Champions Cup semi-final match against Northampton Saints, Leinster province confirms. Yet, the ongoing health concerns regarding Hugo Keenan leave his participation in doubt. The recovery of James Ryan from arm surgery is also ongoing, ruling him out from the upcoming match.

Ringrose’s shoulder injury has resulted in his absence from the Champions Cup matches against Leicester and La Rochelle, post his last game on the bench at Ireland’s final Six Nations match opposite Scotland. On the other hand, O’Brien has been missing from the field due to a neck injury since the beginning of the year.

Keenan’s last game was the round of 16 triumph over Leicester Tigers on the 6th of April; however, his hip injury is yet to fully heal, making his involvement in Saturday’s match uncertain.

The majority of the anticipated starting team was rested by Leinster during a couple of recent URC matches in South Africa. Instead, a predominantly secondary team represented the side on this mini-tour of two weeks, which ended up losing matches to both the Lions and the Stormers.
