Returning to educational institutions leads to increased congestion

Dear Editor,

Now that the Easter break has ended and the schools are back in session, our streets will be plagued by the onset of parental cars ferrying a single child to school, exacerbating the traffic. There are two viable alternatives that come to mind. One solution would be to initiate a local, punctual, and cost-free bus service specifically designed for youngsters, which could potentially alleviate the congestion. Alternatively, we might consider teaching every child above the age of seven to drive. My inclination towards one option might be easy to guess. Just envisage the surge in booster seat purchases!

Kind regards,
