Red Bull X-Fighters Texas: Rebeaud triumphs

Swiss Mat Rebeaud has won the third round of the Red Bull X-Fighters, held in Texas in front of 20,000 spectators.
On the Forth Worth track, constructed specifically for the event, 12 riders from around the world battled it out, but the European won in front of locals Jeremy Stenberg and Jeremy Lusk.

Rebeaud is at the top of the table with 280 points, and said of the US work “This is my first victory in America.
I gave it everything in my last jump and if something had gone wrong I would have paid dearly.
” The Swiss star managed a Backflip Superman Indy (in the photo), in the final run of the evening.
“It was decisive in the victory.
I felt under pressure but now the relief is indescribable.
Red Bull X-Fighters Texas Unfortunately Australian Robbie Maddison had a nasty fall, though nothing too serious and finished fourth.
“I landed badly after completing a Backflip Cordova and my kneecap popped out,” he said.
“I couldn’t bend my knee anymore so I had to retire from the race.
On the way back to the garages, the kneecap went back in on its own accord.

Now I’ll give it everything for the next round of the tournament.
”The race is coming back to Europe for July 4 in Germany and the grand finals on July 17 and 18 in Spain.
