On the inside of the shelves vents are positioned much like those used to cool a personal computer.
In this case they are used to circulate air inside helmets or leather gloves, enabling drying after the hardest rounds on the track.
The presenter (speaking Italian) can tell you about the design and practicality, but the “funkiness” of the thing lies in the vents, such that it is being used in the garages of some of the best teams.
