The Queen was seen for the first time almost two weeks after Prince Philip’s funeral. It happened yesterday, Tuesday, when Queen Elizabeth returned to her duties. Actually, it would appear she was in a good mood.

Elizabeth’s last public appearance was at Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle along with the rest of the royal family. After a few days, she turned 95, but decided not to celebrate in public because of the period of mourning. He only thanked the public and the citizens for the support and for all the messages of good wishes, claiming to feel comforted.

Elizabeth made a call yesterday with the ambassadors from Windsor Castle to Buckingham Palace. She spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, Ms Ivita Burmistre and the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Ms Sara Affoue Amani. She dressed a floral and colorful dress and showed a big smile as she greeted the interlocutors.

Her gesture to return to real functions despite the complicated period is very appreciable. In fact, the Queen preferred to put duty in the foreground over personal affairs. However, the Queen was not the only one to return to work: William and Kate also did, spotted in County Durham this week.
