Quartet of Men Suffer Multiple Stabbings in Nenagh

Following a brutal event in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, four individuals, including two young men, sustained injuries and are currently under medical care in a Limerick hospital. The violent episode, which primarily involved stabbing and slashing, unfolded in this north Tipperary town around midday on Friday.

Two victims managed to reach Nenagh Hospital’s injury unit, presenting stab wounds on their head and arms. Later, they were whisked away by an ambulance to the University Hospital Limerick’s Emergency Department. Seriously, these men were injured, one of them enduring at least one stab or slash wound to his head.

Nenagh’s gardaí stated that four people sought medical assistance following a disorderly event in the town on Friday afternoon. According to a statement by a Garda spokesperson, “A report was lodged with gardaí about a disruptive incident involving several individuals in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, this afternoon, Friday, 18th October 2024.”

By the time the gardaí arrived, all parties had fled the scene. The four people injured in the incident sought medical help independently for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigations are currently underway, and no additional information is available at this time.
