Dear Sir,
Whilst cycling through Dublin city centre just yesterday, I came across a trio of posters, each promoting public gatherings for individual candidates hoping for a seat in the Dáil Éireann. It’s quite evident from these displays that the looming general election is fuelling the candidates’ enthusiasm to host public dialogues on a myriad of matters. One of the matters that ought to be on the agenda is the need for a revamp of the legislation surrounding such promotional posters.
Kind regards,
Dermot Lacey,
Donnybrook,
Dublin 4.
