Dear Editor, – It seems the OPW is appropriately opposing the idea of a metro station beneath St Stephen’s Green, as was reported in the news on October 28th. Equally, there appears to be discontent among developers seeking to overhaul the shopping plaza across the road, a notion which is similarly being opposed. Maybe, the slightly more favourable option would be to construct the station underneath the renovated centre? Besides, by the time this plan materialises, the existing building will undoubtedly be well past its prime. Best regards,
