Places to see in Italy: Frascati’s historic villas

From 16 to 24 May (which means two weekends in a row) visitors will have the opportunity to buy a season ticket for 13 euros and enjoy a tour of the historic houses and villas in the Colli Albani or Alban hills, near Rome.
The tour includes such beautiful villas as Villa Tuscolana, Villa Grazioli, Villa Aldobrandini, Villa Falconieri and Villa Mondragone.

The event called Giochi d’Acqua e di Verde, a title suggestive of water-play features and ornamental gardens, also includes visits to the historic centre of Frascati which, when it comes to architecture, believe me, is a real jewel in the crown.
