You would never guess that the places in this list were actually in the United States of America. These cities show many distinct architectural styles.

Holland, Michigan

Holland takes its name from its European namesake and it’s easy to see why- tulips and windmills abound the landscape. Dutch immigrants moved to the site next to Lake Michigan in 1847 and their culture remains there today with a world-renowned tulip festival being the most pertinent example of that.
