Established in 2016, Pillow Queens, a Dublin-based indie rock group, quickly made a name for themselves with their initial demo EP, Calm Girls, leading to several performances both in Ireland and in the UK, as well as participating in various music festivals. The band’s first full-length album, In Waiting, was released in 2020 and quickly earned a nomination for Irish Album of The Year. Following this, the band toured across North America, UK, and Europe, and played at the popular SXSW festival. Their subsequent albums, Leave the Light On, which was released in 2022, and Name Your Sorrow, dropped in 2024, saw the band exploring new directions.
