The young prodigy, Jessica Purcell, just 16, triumphed in the female race at the 104th Liffey Swim, an event organised by Swim Ireland, on the Saturday in Dublin. The esteemed competition, with a history spanning over a hundred years, commences at the Rory O’More Bridge, situated on Watling Street close to the Liffey-oriented entrance of the Guinness brewery, and concludes before the Custom House on North Wall Quay. Paul Mulvehill, representing the Aer Lingus Masters club, emerged victorious in the male category.
