The Clare GAA has named Peter Keane as the proposed manager for the senior football team. This proposition is set to be validated at the imminent county committee assembly. Keane, formerly holding the managerial position for Kerry, departed from the role in 2021, leading to Jack O’Connor taking his place. Keane voiced his displeasure regarding this decision, stating the county board disregarded the players’ preferences. Prior to this, Keane demonstrated remarkable leadership for the Kerry minor football team, leading them to victory in three All-Irelands from 2016 to 2018.
