Palazzo Madama, house of the Italian Senate

The discount that Italian senators got off the menu at the cafeteria located inside Palazzo Madama, house of the Italian Senate, caused quite a stir here in Italy, but thank heaven things have now quieted down and discounts are not allowed any longer! Apart from this new mini scandal, the place is a real masterpiece and undoubtedly deserves a visit.

So if you are in the Eternal City, remember to take a tour of this old palazzo in the heart of Rome.
Palazzo Madama is open to the public for guided tours in Italian the first Saturday of every month from 10: 00 to 18:00.
The complete tour will take around an hour.
