In an unexpected turn of events at the Qipco 2,000 Guineas Stakes in Newmarket, Notable Speech emerged as the surprising victor as City Of Troy failed to make a mark. The favourite horse, trained by Aidan O’Brien, appeared stressed early in the race and gradually dropped out, enabling Notable Speech, a horse with odds of 16-1, to take the lead. Under the guidance of jockey William Buick, the chestnut meticulously trained by Charlie Appleby effortlessly overcame his competitors to secure a comfortable win. He left behind Richard Hannon’s pair, Rosallion and Haatem. Stay tuned for more updates.
