“Bridgerton” actress Nicola Coughlan recently joined the list of big names modelling for Kim Kardashian’s underwear line, Skims. This was shortly after the release of the third season’s second half of the romantic drama on Netflix, where Coughlan stars as Penelope Featherington. Other celebrities who have previously fronted Skims campaigns are English footballer Jude Bellingham and singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is dating Irish actor Barry Keoghan.
For her first modelling gig with the American retailer, the actress from Galway is shown in a lemonade soft lounge long slip dress and a heather grey soft lounge long sleeve dress from the brand. A video on the Skims official Instagram page features Coughlan, aged 37, against a roseate, dreamy backdrop, with her remarking: “Everybody’s wearing Skims.”
Co-star Simone Ashley, from the series ‘Sex Education’, and who portrays Kate Bridgerton in the blockbuster saga, responded to the post with a cascade of surprised emojis and love hearts. The latest instalment of the Regency-styled show, based on the novels by Julia Quinn, puts the spotlight on the romantic journey of Coughlan’s role and Colin Bridgerton, portrayed by UK actor Luke Newton.
Reality TV star Kardashian, aged 43, co-founded Skims with CEO Jens Grede, who had also contributed to the e-commerce division Mr Porter, denim manufacturer Frame, and Tom Brady’s clothing label Brady. – PA.
