Niccolò Canepa still looking for a ride

Niccolò Canepa is only 22-years-old, but the last two seasons he’s had, would have made anyone stop and think, but the Italian rider is still thinking positive and looking to find a new ride for 2011, in another championship series.
After winning the FIM Superstock 1000 championship in 2007 with the Ducati Xerox Junior Team, Canepa found himself as a Ducati/BridgestoneMotoGP test rider in 2008 getting the opportunity to ride in two WSBK rounds as a wildcard with the Ducati Xerox factory team, but the Genoan wanted more and in 2009 his manager, the foxy Carlo Pernat, found him a spot in the big league with Pramac Ducati.

Canepa finished 16th in the standings, missing the final three races due to a hand injury was later dropped in favour of the upcoming, and what everyone thought at that time, a better riding Aleix Espargaro.
Finding himself without a ride in MotoGP, Canepa turned to the new Moto2 series and was luckless even there.
His RSM Scot Racing team folded with big financial problems after 10 rounds, he was then picked up by Bimota M Racing, but after just two races, got the axe.
