New Ireland Rugby Kit Inspired

The Ireland Rugby home and alternate outfits for the 2024/25 competitions have been disclosed by the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and their kit manufacturer, Canterbury. The fresh designs incorporate elements that draw inspiration from Ireland’s resplendent landscapes, including well-known natural features such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Giant’s Causeway, and Benbulben. Additionally, a noticeable change in the shade of emerald green has been chosen by Canterbury for this year, adding more depth compared to previous seasons.

Canterbury’s creation has been described by the IRFU as the most technologically superior ever, completely made out of polyester, and equipped with state-of-the-art VapoDri+ which is proficient in quick-drying and adaptability. The kit proudly highlights the distinct natural beauty of Ireland, which the IRFU’s Michael Collopy, chair of the commercial and marketing committee, says encapsulates the enchantment of Ireland’s varied landscapes, from verdant hills to rugged coastlines.

Further details include a robust collar made from bonded, elastic and flatlocked material, laser-cut openings for effective aeration, silicone motifs, and a form that ensures comfort. This newest uniform allows both the team members and the supporters to represent Ireland with pride, both on and off the field.

Supporters and fans can now acquire the 2024/25 kits, alongside new merchandise for training and support, through the official websites of Canterbury and Elverys and also in physical stores of Intersports Elverys. Item prices begin at €70.
