New Honda 2008 helmets

For the 2008 season, Honda is releasing a new line of helmets, completely re-worked, to bring itself closer to a larger customer range.
The top of the range models Shin and Gotham are characterised by composite fibre shells, excellent aeration system with two front and rear vents, a double D ring closing system, anti-scratch and anti-fog visor, and removable and washable internal linings.

The Shin is on sale for 499 euros, while the Gotham costs 349 euros.
One step down you will find the Kabuki with great quality-price ratio.
In this case the shell is in lexan poly-carbon, with removable and washable lining, rapid click closure, and antiscratch, shock resistant visor.
It’s being sold at around 210 euros.
New Honda helmets 2008 Jet models include the Lifestyle and Kou versions, for city riding.
Both have the same lexan poly-carbon shell with washable lining, removable jaw parts, rapid latch system and sizes from XS to XL.
The two jets are sold at prices of 149 euros for the lifestyle, and 138 euros for the Kou.
The more integrated models are the Kiba and Ken – more agressive for whoever wants to be noticed.

The first presents advanced technical characteristics with composite fibres and a weight of only 1.
3 kg.
It includes a ventilation system with air vents on the top of the helmet.
The same materials have been used for Ken but the construction is slightly different.
The Kiba has a price of 546 euros, while the Ken has one of 329 euros.
Finishing the range of jet helmets is the Kame, in fibre.
The shell has a fibreglass and composite material mix, and has been specifically designed to create protection from evey angle, while also maximising comfort.
The cheek parts can be removed and washed, it has a double D closure and anti-scratch visor.
Price is around 299 euros.
