The guys at Autoblog.
nl have managed to get their hands on preview pics of the new Audi A6 which was set for an official unveiling tomorrow.
The slightly redesigned A6 is longer than the previous one by a few centimetres, apparently touching the five metre mark, and should use some parts in aluminium contributing to a significant weight reduction on the previous model.
Audi hasn’t gone silly with the restyling, and it looks as though the A6 will simple get some modern touch-ups including LED lights and an impressive interior.
The model in these leaked pics is a turbo diesel unit, although we should get a thorough engine range with options like the 3.
0-litre TDI in 204, 245 and 300 hp and the 3.
0-litre TFSI unit.
Both dual-clutch DSG and Tiptronic gearboxes will be offered and all-wheel drive will appear as an option.
The new A6 will be presented at the Detroit show with the A6 Variant to be revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
