Bike Week, an annual event celebrating the pleasures of cycling, will be held throughout Ireland from May 11th to 19th this year. There will be a broad range of events and activities available for cyclists of all skill levels, whether a veteran, a beginner or someone returning to the sport.
The overarching theme of the week is “Cycling is for Everyone!” and it’s strongly underlining inclusivity. Nationwide, communities will be hosting numerous activities during the week. Whether you belong to a community group or you’re an individual who wants to embrace cycling in your local area, the invitation is extended to all.
People throughout Ireland will partake in various activities such as group cycles, mountain biking, safe cycling training, cycle parades, family-friendly activities, and greenway cycles. These happenings are brought to you collectively by local authorities, sports partnerships and community groups, in partnership with TFI and financially supported by the Department of Transport. There is something for every taste during Bike Week.
