MV Agusta, Pagani and the Frecce Tricolori

Recently the Italian jet fighting aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori celebrated its 50th anniversary and it’s not exaggerated to say that the incredible team is one of Italy’s pride and joys.
The team often performs all over Italy to the delight of many who see it as an example of Italian brilliance and perfection, especially in a time when Italians often feel they don’t have much to be proud of.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Frecce Tricolori enjoyed dedications from other Italian icons, namely supercar manufacturer Pagani and motorcycle builder MV Agusta.
Pagani had originally built a special edition Zonda Tricolore to honour the acrobatic team and has now produced this video which brings the two icons together is some truly beautiful imagery.
Meanwhile, MV Agusta has produced a special livery edition of its world famous MV Agusta F4 bike, coloured blue (in tribute to Italy’s azzurro colour) and the red, white and green of the Italian flag.
For the video of the Pagani supercar and the Italian jet fighter, see after the jump and if you live in Italy, make sure you get to a Frecce Tricolori show at least once – they’re really quite special.
