Italian museums featured on the site are divided into categories such as archeological, historical and relgious.
The English version is still under construction but you can see maps to Rome’s historic locations, with Roman castle visit itineraries being inserted soon.

Some featured museums include Roman acqueducts, an Italian wine museum, Roman ships museum, and a collection from the convent of San Silvestro a Montecompatri.
If you’re looking for things to do in Rome and surrounds, the Museumgrandtour site includes information on events, opening times and a description of the attractions.
