MotoGP Sepang Test – Day 2

On the second day of MotoGP testing at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, Casey Stoner still struggling with pain in his left wrist posted the fastest time 2.

Managing to complete only 29 laps because of the pain and even with a relatively small number of laps was just enough to be the fastest man on the grid beating out Suzuki rider Loris Capirossi who clocked in at 2.

555Valentino Rossi, third on the charts, is also struggling with injury, ended the second day with a best time of 2.

626 in a 40-lap stint and trying out new electronics designed to help with acceleration.
Fourth fastest was Dani Pedrosa logging in at 2.

Pedrosa will be cutting testing short and will be flying back home due to persistant pain in his left knee.
Pedrosa revealed that he had undergone surgery on his left knee in December.
Chris Vermeulen 5th closing the gap to the leaders, while Elias was 6th and still the best satellite rider, Colin Edwards 7th also doing a race simulation.
Andrea Dovizioso 8th is still on the learning curve with Bridgestone tires as is Malboro Ducati rider Nicky Hayden.

Hayden’s fastest lap was 2.

The Fiat Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo was 10th with a best time of 2.

The Spainard is also having trouble in the transition from Michelin to Bridgestone tires.
Ducati satellite riders Sete Gibernau was 11th, while Mika Kallio was 13th and Niccolo Canepa in 14th finally getting out yesterdays last position.
Yamaha Tech3 rider James Toseland came in 19th with a best time of 2.

597 and only 36 laps having taken to the track late, is still struggling after yesterdays massive 125mp highside that left the British rider bruised and shook up.
