Jorge Lorenzo was fifth after taking second in yesterday’s FP1, while Mika Kallio also made a jump forward taking a sixth place on the chart.
Ben Spies and Loris Capirossi were seventh and eighth respectively, with Capirossi showing no ill effects after his crash yesterday.
Dani Pedrosa continues to have problems but moved up to two positions from yesterday’s 11th spot to take 9th and Colin Edwards completed the top ten.
