MotoGP – Jorge Lorenzo undergoes successful surgery

Jorge Lorenzo underwent surgery yesterday afternoon to remove a metal plate from his left collarbone, that he’s had since 2005.
The Spanish rider who uses Twitter to communicate with his numerous fans from around the world, kept everyone up to date on his overnight stay in the hospital, even stating that the food wasn’t great (no matter in what country you’re in, hospital food never changes) and that he was woken up early this morning by a crying child in the room next to his.

Lorenzo writes and answers in English, so if you want to head over to lorenzo99 and say hi and wish him a speedy recovery, we’re sure he’ll appreciate it.
