MotoGP – Dani Pedrosa undergoes hand surgery

MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa underwent surgery in Barcelona on Wednesday to remove a screw from in his left hand.
The screw that was removed freed the adhesions that were blocking his extensor tendons that should allow the Spanish rider to improve mobility of his wrist.
Pedrosa was operated by the reknowned Dr.

Xavier Mir, head Hand Surgery Unit, Department of Traumatology of the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus and was discharged from the hospital today and functional recovery should begin within two weeks.
