Moto2 Test Results at Jerez and Pics

Last weekend saw the Moto2 teams at Jerez again for the final official test before the season opener at Losail, Qatar on April 9-11th.
Day 1, with mixed weather conditions saw former MotoGP rider Toni Elias come out on top with a best time of 1’44.
077, with the Gresini rider improving almost a full second from his test times three weekes ago.

Colombian rider Yonny Hernadez on his BQR bike was down four tenths of second from Elias’ best time.

The first day also saw several riders fall: Sergio Gadea, Dominique Aegerter, Axel Pons, Niccolò Canepa and Karel Abraham, while Kenny Noyes was riding with a hairline fracture in his right hand that he picked up in training incident the week before the tests.
Day 2, saw another former MotoGP rider top the timesheet, this time it was Yuki Takahashi who’s best lap was 1’44.
552, more than five tenths of a second slower than Elias’ best time set on Day 1.
In second place Scott Redding of the Marc VDS Racing team with a best lap of 1’44.
600, while new entry Anthony West on the MZ racer posted a best time of 1’44.

614 that put him in third.
