Moto2 Sachsenring: Marc Marquez takes third consecutive win

125cc reigning World champion Marc Marquez had a rotten start in his rookie season in Moto2, but the quiet Spaniard, who reminds us of Dani Pedrosa, is on a roll again and took his third consecutive win this year after beating Moto2 points leader and home boy favourite Stefan Bradl at Sachsenring.

Marquez pulled away from the field early in the race, but Bradl reeled him in and took the lead when the Spaniard ran wide halfway through the race and the two riders then squared off swapping the lead several times with Alex de Angelis getting in the way, but never able to take the lead.
Marquez outbraked the Kalex rider in the final turn with eight laps to go and raced to the finish line with a comfortable 0.
896s margin.
Alex de Angelis took his first podium of the season in third, breaking away after a battle with Thomas Luthi, when the Swiss rider found himself with his hands full with Randy Krummenacher who passed the Interwetten rider on the penultimate lap to take the fourth spot.
Yonny Hernandez took sixth, while Scott Redding and Simone Corsi charged through from 23rd and 21st on the grid to seventh and eighth respectively.

Jules Cluzel and Michele Pirro closed out the top ten.
Aspar’s Julian Simon returning to his first race after breaking his leg at Catalunya crashed at turn one, fortunately not picking up any further injuries.
Other crashes included Bradley Smith and Aleix Espargaro whose high-side took out Max Neukirchner on lap 5.
Moto2 and 125cc classes will not race at Laguna Seca next weekend and their championship season resumes at Brno in August.
