Despite her international success, Monica Bellucci seems to have no good luck with Italian critics who tend to pan all her movies; now the actress could turn the tables on them by playing the iconic Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci in a movie.
Here’s what Monica Bellucci told Ansa: It has not yet been confirmed but I’ll most likely be in the movie; I have a great admiration for Polish director Andrzej Wajda.
We wish her good luck but to play Oriana Fallaci, one of Italy’s most talented journalists and writers (her articles and books critical of Islam and Arabs never failed to arouse wide interest -and some controversy) won’t be an easy task! In the meanwhile, the actress and her young son Louis will star in a French movie called Un eté brulant by Philippe Garrel.
