He also supported workers to schedule Christmas parties and celebrate them “as usual”.

On the other side, Professor Adam Finn, a member of the Government’s vaccination advisory body the JCVI, predicted that the country was “very near to the edge of the cliff”. He named on the Government to be more spoken in urging people to wear face coverings indoors, to keep using lateral flow tests, and to evade big groups inside.
The reason Covid Plan B should appear
His warning appeared as Covid cases in the UK proceeded to rush compared to other major European countries. A report mentioned more than 40,000 positive cases for the seventh day in a row on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the death reported as 223 deaths. It is the highest number of daily fatalities since March.

Mayor Sadiq Khan declared “I don’t imagine and I would not support another lockdown. I think we can avoid that. That is why I am urging the Government to do what they can to assist Plan B, which is more face mask-wearing, more boosters.”
The NHS Confederation requested the Government to begin Covid restrictions to dodge “tripping into a crisis”.
The Government has until now dismissed requests to start its Plan B Covid restrictions. It includes the necessary wearing of face masks in packed areas, working from home might be considered, and the use of vaccine passports.
