According to Met Éireann, throughout the week, we’re expecting a mixture of sunny and rainy conditions. As Tuesday progresses, the cloud cover will diminish, allowing for patches of brightness which will extend to the Atlantic counties by evening. The night should typically be uneventful, being predominantly dry and serene. Any trace of mist or drizzle present will disperse over the Irish Sea.
The forecast for Wednesday is promising with abundant sunshine and gentle winds from the southwest. Occasionally, the warm sunny climate will be interrupted by light rain passing eastwards, except for some eastern and southeastern regions which will remain dry. With the mercury expected to rise between 19 to 23 degrees, we can look forward to a balmy day. The mild conditions will extend through the night, with the temperature not dipping below 10 to 13 degrees.
On Thursday, we can anticipate rain showers emerging from the west, though central and southeastern regions are expected to stay predominantly dry. A pronounced breeze will be felt in the northwest, with temperate to fairly strong westerly winds in other areas. The expected temperature will oscillate between 13 to 17 degrees.
As we approach Friday, it appears that the west will bring sporadic outbreaks of drizzle. The precipitation will mostly disperse by the afternoon leading to a dry day with varying cloud cover. Maximum temperatures will lie between 14 to 18 degrees with gentle to moderate breezes from the west.
Moving onto Saturday, the forecast remains somewhat uncertain, but we can tentatively predict a cloudy day with sporadic rain. This precipitation is expected to retreat to the north and northwest with the passing of the day.
