The Emporio Armani woman who took to the catwalk in Milan just a couple of days ago took us aback; many of us were in fact not prepared to see such a change of style.
The black and greys of course still dominated the palette but there were sudden bursts of colour which were quite unexpected and literally lit up the runway.
Fur coats, mini-skirts and black sequin-smothered cocktail dresses were the key elements of a collection which, though inspired by classic elegance (Armani has always clung to it), looked modern, ultra feminine and tremendously sexy.
