Those of you have a passion for antiques are probably well acquainted with the works of Cesare Roccheggiani who was a prominent master-mosaicist active at the Vatican workshops from 1856 to 1864.
One of his most important works depicting a view over the Roman forum will be auctioned at Myers Fine Art in Miami on January 30; the micrormosaic picture is expected to fetch $100,000–200,000.
