Mickey Graham Leaves Leitrim Role

Mickey Graham has resigned from his role as Leitrim’s senior football manager, having succeeded Andy Moran in the position only two months prior. As the previous manager for Cavan, he also served in Moran’s back room team throughout the 2024 season. However, due to unforeseen conditions, Graham has been compelled to abandon his managerial role.

Leitrim GAA revealed in an announcement on Tuesday night that Mickey Graham had informed its Management Committee of his decision not to continue in his role as Leitrim’s senior football manager for 2025 during its meeting earlier in the evening.

Despite his complete commitment and enthusiasm for his forthcoming responsibilities, Graham was forced to make this decision because of uncontrollable circumstances that regrettably mean he cannot carry on in his assigned role.

A new manager’s appointment process will now be reinstated by Leitrim GAA. Similarly, Derry, Westmeath, and Clare have also not yet officially appointed their senior football managers for 2025.
