“Mass Pro-Palestine Demonstration in Dublin”

A large-scale pro-Palestinian rally was held in Dublin, attracting participants from all over Ireland. The central part of the capital was flooded with individuals advocating for Palestinians, demanding that Israel halt its activities in Gaza. The organisers also urged the Irish Government to hold Israel accountable for its actions.

The gathering was the fifth of its type organised by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC). Participants convened at Parnell Square, from where a procession moved across the city to St Stephen’s Green. Here, the crowd assembled at the Department of Foreign Affairs amidst speeches and live performances of both Irish and Palestinian music.

Among the speakers present at the protest were Zoe Lawlor, chairwoman of IPSC, and independent senator Frances Black.
